Is there ever a part of you looking at her saying, I'd love her to retire or do you think she copes well or what's the reason that you did retire?
And you're not going to become a much better boxer overnight either.
So the hard work is essentially done.
Aidan, do you have any regrets about retiring so young?
You said that to me earlier on before we started recording and I just said, you saved that.
Because I think that that's mad because you've retired really young.
And you're saying you wish you had retired sooner.
That's what I was going to say, Aidan.
That might sound very minor to somebody listening to this who doesn't understand, like, the highest level.
But, like, that is, like, seen as, like, one of the worst things you can do is go drinking Coke.
And you're saying then you're just going milling Coke up.
You're really passionate about what you're doing now, aren't you?
I think it really helps though with your background and how much you've struggled and you're open with the struggles mentally that when you're there to support these athletes they're really going to listen like you know you're not just reading stuff from a book you've been there you felt the pressure you've been at the highest level yeah your story is powerful like we've sat here for I don't know how long we're into the episode now but
it's really really really powerful to even just sit on this bleeding chair and I'm not an up and coming boxer at the bleeding highest level but we're sitting here listening to the stuff that you went through mentally and that's what we wanted to touch on today because your boxing career is fantastic your achievements are fantastic but
