Since our last conference two years ago, many countries in the world have uh
Started to address sepsis by enacting national action plans.
Um, these national action plans, um, even in its early stages, have borne forth fruit, and you will hear some of the uh successes.
Yet there is a lot more that needs to be done.
Indeed.
We need to continue and not decrease the momentum despite uh sort of uh difficulties that may come in our way.
Again, I would like to offer my heartfelt um thanks to our sponsors, the organizing committee, those uh my colleagues in the office of the GSA in Berlin, to you the participants, and to everyone um who have been involved in this journey with us with us over many years.
Let us always remember why we are gathered here.
We are gathered here to help those who are afflicted by sepsis, our patients and families.
And I wish you all a very productive meeting.
And look forward to our continued engagement in the years to come in supporting the Global Sepsis Alliance, achieving our goal of a world free of sepsis.
Thank you very much.
Back to you, Shazad.
