Some of his the deep throws aren't all created equal.
I think he threw most to the center of the field.
And like you said, there's a lot of those like 20 yard crossing routes where technically counts as a deep throw.
But it's not really what we're talking about when it's like lofted over the top or anything like that.
I think that the play action and the deep passing are going to be the two biggest areas of improvement.
Uh, and I think it has to do with just the nature of what's being installed here.
Like, I don't think that the quick game is going to be as much, um, a part of this offense with the commitment to the run game, uh, that they're going to have.
And then Matt Nagy being kind of a more aired out style passer.
Um,
You know, I don't know.
It seems to be that a lot of the quick game stuff is going to be eliminated.
So there's going to be an emphasis on correcting the footwork and getting the downfield accuracy there and seeing the field and working the play action more because they're going to be running the ball more.
So hopefully these two negatives of the play action and the deep passing are going to be points of emphasis for correction this year.
And then you can kind of work on getting rid of the hero ball stuff out of him a little bit later.
But yeah, it's it's certainly in the footwork.
And I think one of the things that did a early disservice to him was how much he was able to throw on the move and throw from unconventional situations led to, you know, just not wood shedding that ability to just set your feet and always be mindful of your feet.
Gosh, was it the Saints game where he stepped up in the pocket and just kind of like threw from off base and just threw directly to the middle linebacker?
And it was partly because he was just like in the in air and being tackled when he decided to throw.
