Right.
That's perfect.
I agree with that.
But in terms of actually just giving him away, if you're just going to trade him for a draft pick.
Right.
What are you going to do with that draft pick this year?
I know the Giants don't have a third-round pick.
What are you going to do, get a run defender?
What is the point of this?
Like, you're in a very high likelihood that your three best impending free agents are probably gone between Illumina, Robinson, and Flott.
Now you're just going to, like, trade away a fourth good player that you have for the possibility of getting a good player?
I understand that, like...
Kayvon is much more replaceable with the addition of Abdul Carter, but like Abdul Carter is far, far, far from a finished product for 2026.
And I know we don't want to let Kayvon just hit the open market and get quote unquote nothing in return, but maybe what you get in return is really just you get another year out of him while you continue to recycle this whole thing.
If we weren't in the middle of a whole regime change, maybe I would feel more compelled to get a lot more from him, but I just...
I don't know.

I'm looking for a player swap at this point if someone comes calling me.
Yeah, I think where you and I are profoundly aligned is that we don't look at three pass rushers as being insanely deep.
That's kind of like just the ideal position to be in is having three pass rushers on the edge.
