So it doesn't matter.
Either he's he's fired, he leaves on his own, or he has such a minor role that
that when things go wrong, we're not really blaming Joe Shane because we know he's not running the show.
So I don't really care so much about that, but the structure is definitely interesting.
Neither do I. But my fear...
And by the way, I echo everything that you're saying.
But my fear is that if the Giants do really well this year, let's just say we have another 2022 or something, not in terms of record or ending, but just in terms of overachieving what was the expectation in the first year, right?
My fear is that
the perspective becomes, okay, this is working.
And I mean this as in like the relationship at the upper level between Harbaugh, Shane, Hickey, Mara, Chris Mara, however the hell he fits into all this.
All of that, my fear is that become complacent with success at that level.
I know John Harbaugh believes in his principles and philosophies for everything from him down, but...
from him up is where I'm like worried about it.

At the same time, I do not view John Harbaugh as being infallible to the point where he does not get checks and balances.
Curry Harbaugh has a very specific job.
And I'm not saying Joe Shane has to be those checks and balances.
But right now, that's the position that he's filling is to be those checks and balances and make sure that John Harbaugh should not get a blank slate to just do whatever he wants because he's had success.
