You were just, you were just, you know, you were just long momentum.
And that's the, and the market and can already, the market is efficient most, like most of the time, but where the value is adding, where the value is added is when you realize it isn't.
And it's, as I say, it's, you've got to be willing to be wrong to be right sometimes.
Well, I think like, so BG is, I mean, absolutely plays a role.
Like innovation is like, we're also, you know, our investment style on the equity floor in particular is kind of, you know, have been very famous for some of our very prolific, like growth equity investments, which is often asking the question, like,
What if we're like, what if this happens?
And some and I think like that also comes into how we think about running the business at Bailey Gifford.
I'm not a partner, but it's really it's really evident from how you look at how the partners talk about their day jobs, as well as the strategy and the structure of the firm.
And thinking, you know, we have this phrase we think in decades, not quarters, which is, you know, pretty meaningful for us who work here because it encourages you to go.
No, not thinking about what your P&L looks like in three months time, but it's like, can I transform the P&L of the business in 10 years time?
And so that innovative force is like incumbent on ourselves.
And we're also we're like a super decentralized business, which is very different to some of the other asset managers, particularly U.S.
asset managers.
We have, you know, the team, the investment teams are independent of each other.
We collaborate a lot.
But like we I mean, I would almost talk about BG as being like a very over a century old DAO is probably the best way to think about it.
But, you know, the DAO debates are much more structured and slightly less chaotic.
But, yeah, so it plays a massive role.
The other thing to remember is we're an unlimited liability partnership.
What that means is if something goes wrong, like the partners bear a potential financial hit to their financial positions because we are liable, there's no limit to their liability.
