I can't thank him enough and now I'm here with Sam and again he shows so much faith in me and I just want to repay that really to him personally and for this team and I want to work hard.
I felt like the team and myself we worked really hard tonight and like I said it was a really well fought battle tonight.

He's an absolute dream to play with.
At times, as a winger, he tells you, don't mind being one-on-one.
I don't mind it at all.
That just shows the confidence he's got in himself defensively.
But going forward as well and the way you can link off him, he's played at the highest level for so long and obviously he's had that horrific injury.
And to come back the way he has as well, mentally it's not an easy thing.
I've had a long injury and it's not easy to come back from.
But he's come...
You wouldn't even have thought he got the injury.
He's a fantastic professional.
He's a great character in the dressing room.
Every time you think of Everton, he's the first man you think of, I believe.
Without a doubt.
I feel it's been a hit and miss at times this season.
I've obviously come a bit later on and they've had a bit of change of management.
And it's just getting to know the balance and the way we want to play.
And it's one of those things that I feel more so next season, obviously the amount of money that's been spent as well on the club and you expect to be higher up on the table.
