So I took my banana and my $25.

It was special for students in those days.

And I learned how to meditate and I was a natural at it.

First time I tried.

First time they said, go out and sit down, say your mantra for 15 minutes and then go.

And after that, you know, twice a day.

And they had this thing you're supposed to do.

Well, I went out and sat down for my first 15 minutes and it was like 45 minutes, an hour later.

Wow.

I came to.

Oh, where have I been?

Yeah, and I thought it was, and I looked around, and all the people that were there when I was there were all gone.

So I asked somebody, you know, what time is it?

And I didn't wear a watch.

What time is it?

And they told me, and I'd been there for close to an hour and just lost it.

It just was an hour out of my life.

It disappeared.

What did it feel like when you were in the States?

Well, I got into it so deeply that at first, I got into it really deeply and just stayed there, unconscious.
