I had a wonderful family and upbringing, but I mean, everyone's fucked.
I definitely would do that, which isn't fair to the person, of course.
I'll give you an actual example.
I remember I was with this girl who I was in a relationship with, and she was like, I like guys with gold jewelry.
I like gold jewelry.
So obviously you bought gold jewelry.
But I like silver jewelry.
But I would compromise what I authentically like, silver jewelry, so that she would like gold jewelry on me, so that she would like me, so she would... Do you know what I mean?
And that's a bad thing?
Yeah, that is a bad thing.
How do you not see that that's a bad thing?
It's just gold jewelry.
But the principle of the thing.
And then you can start to... Then you're not living authentically.
