And starting Monday night, probably around 10 p.m., the goose egg went, it stayed pretty much the same size all of Sunday and all of Monday.
But coming to Monday night, the goose egg started to grow and it started to spread.
And what ended up happening was that the fatty tissue of my scalp
separated from my skull.
And so I basically got scalped.
And Monday night into Tuesday morning, it's the most excruciating pain I've ever felt in my life.
I can't even describe the amount of pain I was in.
And I just toughed it out.
At this point, I don't know that I was thinking 100% straight.
But my wife woke up Tuesday morning, saw that my head had completely swollen up,
Um, it, there was a definite line on my forehead where it had separated and it continued to move, slowly moved down my forehead towards my eyes.
And so she freaked out, loaded me up, took me to the hospital, uh, where I was admitted and, uh, ended up spending the week in the hospital.
By the end of the third day, I could pretty much grab the hair on my head and walk my face around my skull because it wasn't attached.
It was detached.
It was pretty gruesome.
And because of my association with the ranch, I was only out of the hospital a day or two when I was contacted by Brandon and the team and asking me if I'd be willing to allow some people to come investigate it.
And so I bet I had only been home a couple of days when the investigation into what had taken place.
Now, mind you, when I was in the hospital, my doctors could not figure out what was going on.
I did over I think they ran 43 different tests.
