Yeah, absolutely.
First of all, Don, thank you for having me on.
I just want to say it's good to see you.
And I don't just mean on this screen, on this amazing independent platform that you've started that is so crucially important.
I mean, it's good to see you, to see you free, to see you continuing to pursue the field of journalism that is failing us almost every day.
So transitioning right into how it failed us today, it is about the job.
I did not.
I've been blissfully ignorant.
Okay, well, now you have me curious about this Rachel Scott book, so I hope I do get to see it.
Okay, every day it's a new monstrosity from this administration.
But, you know, I'm not even hanging this particular monstrosity around the neck of Donald Trump.
I'm talking about...
The way that reporters cover these types of things.
I've been navigating newsrooms.
I was watching our former employer this morning on CNN, and I've been navigating newsrooms for 26 plus years.
And so, you know, Don, how it is when the job numbers comes out.
That's always a story.
And it's always something that you talk about on Fridays.
And yet we never disaggregate the numbers.
And so I was quite outraged this morning when I heard economists and commentators talk about, oh, the job numbers report is better this week.
