And it just blatantly is not.

We know that there are close to 400,000 Black women who are still out of work.

And that doesn't even count the number of Black women who never returned to the workforce after COVID.

Moreover, federal job cuts hit Black women harder.

And a year later, the unemployment rate is up.

Black women have suffered the steepest job loss in this environment.

And

Black federal workers disproportionately comprise of Black women and losses in government positions are undermining a critical, critical engine of economic mobility for Black people.

Black men are doing worse than they were a year ago.

So all of that talk about the economy and how we're going to save the economy, all of these things are tanking right now.

So when you have reporters and anchors talk about how great the job numbers are, it's leaving out an entire demographic.

So what am I to think as a consumer, as a viewer that that news is not for me?

You're censoring whiteness at all times and you're talking to a certain demographic.

I think we have to start disaggregating the data.

And this is not a recent thing.

This is something that has happened for decades.

And I used to get into these battles, Don, in newsrooms all the time.

as a producer and then eventually an anchor about how we cover these types of stories.

So now that kind of lack of reporting, that kind of lack of context has created the landscape where now you have elected this half-witted idiot to the highest office of the land.

And his lies are allowed to permeate because I think a lot of the media landscape looked at it and said, oh, we don't want to offend MAGA extremists.
