We have a right to stand still and build shelter for ourselves.

Because right now, it feels like we're in the eye of the storm, looking at this destruction all around us, and there's very little we can do.

So people who keep saying, well, midterms, midterms, midterms.

If you talk to me about midterms, you have missed the plot because we have to pose the question first.

Will midterms happen?

And I don't want people to misunderstand me and say that that means like don't vote.

Like, no, we have to fight in every way.

But we're perceptive enough and aware enough that we have to question every single thing about this country.

Every day, every day we think that, well, this can't happen.

And I think there are so many people across the country who keep waiting for him to cross some invisible line that has been crossed so many times that people get used to it.

So when Don said, oh, did you see what happened with Rachel Scott today?

I wasn't the least bit surprised.

I wasn't clutching my pearls.

I'm like, yeah, another day, another Donald Trump incident.

And they've normalized chaos.

So the quiet feels eerie to us.

So my simple answer is build shelter for yourself.

figure out what happens because even on a global scale, things are shifting quickly.

So aside from domestic policies that we're concerned about globally, we are facing a shift in superpowers and we're treating our enemies like allies and our allies like enemies and they are coalescing around us.

So we have domestic threats and we have foreign threats.
