Well, I think in any relationship, for me personally, one of the most important things is honesty
divulging of like your truth and your intentions and like, I guess like your purpose in life and things.
So the fact that he came to her and said he was going to do this without any like prior discussion about it, that that's a problem there.
Like, and I think she says that herself, like it's not actually the profession she has a problem with.
It's the fact that he just came and said he was going to do it without even really seeming to care what she thought about it.
And I think that's a very different circumstance to when someone has been a sex worker and comes into a relationship already being a sex worker, as opposed to someone starting sex work partway through a relationship.
They're two slightly different circumstances.

So my girlfriend I've been with for a year and she knew I was a sex worker well before we started dating.
I've always been really just upfront with people about what I do.
Firstly, because it's a big part of my life and I feel like I wouldn't have anything to talk about if I couldn't talk about this part of
life.
And also because I don't want it to come down and bite me later down the track and someone will be like, oh, you've lied to me.
You've hidden things from me.
How was her reaction when you... Well, I didn't need to because she already knew.
Like she knew me as a sex worker and like a person.
And also she like works in the industry too.
So she has an understanding of the work that I think a lot of other people don't.
And so there's no really like jealousy or possession or insecurity there because, yeah.
