If one of those goes down, we're in a lot of trouble.
I have seen the government initiatives on trying to get us to eat more healthy and how fruit and vegetables are an important part of that diet that they would like us to eat.
but I don't see it in any practical way of increasing supply from the UK.
They want us to eat more fruit and veg, but they don't actually make it easier for producers to supply that need.
I'm not looking for growers to make a lot of money or supermarkets to put up prices to afford it, but we must look at ways of being able to produce more fruit and vegetables in the UK, and that's environmental as well as economic.
I think there will still be farming, but the market will determine how much of it is grown in the UK.
If you go on the present trajectory, it'll be less for sure.
But I'm optimistic.
And I think the pendulum is swinging quite a long way in one direction.
And at a certain point, you'll have to come back and the market will determine how much we grow here.
Not government policy.
That will always be against us, I'm afraid.
