I just think like ultimately it's either going to work or it's not.
And if you like, maybe the number is 15 million after tax or 10 million after tax.
If you're getting to that number, I just don't think it's impacting your life very much from there.
And maybe it doesn't, maybe you care really much about like the, you know, like the trappings of wealth.
But I like, I don't think many people I know who've started companies do.
And I don't think that's necessarily true.
where I think it's really, really impactful is on the decisions employees make.
Yeah.
So like, what is the, what is the underappreciated asset of Silicon Valley is the amount of people who've been there, done that, that are professional employees.
So one of my best mates runs this company called base 10.
He's an Aussie.
Uh, it's like an inference company.
It's maybe, I think they just raised it $10 billion us valuation, um, which cool, cool for him.
But the really interesting thing about him and his company is, like, I've met a few of the leaders there, and, like, he has a president who kind of reports to him who, like, runs the sales function who, like, was a partner at Sequoia before that and then was, like, head of BD at Slack before that.
And it's like, that's the thing.
You know, like, it's really, really hard to hire employees 10 through 50 in Australia because there aren't many people who've done...
anything.
And because a lot of people have either worked for like large corporates.
Cool.
You've, you've built a certain shape of career and you're successful.
