Good on you.
Um, but you're not particularly well suited to a startup or they've worked for American startups.
And that's the same as working for a large corporate because you've worked on like the, the satellite venture of Salesforce, you know, whatever.
I like just thinking about them because they're in this building, but, um, but you know, like it's not actually really relevant.
And so finding battle-hardened startup people is really, really difficult.
And so the incentives for that group are really, really important.
And to be able to build a high-quality career... You meet heaps of people in Silicon Valley who've gone two years at eight hot startups and have a five out of eight success rate or a four out of eight success rate, and that's $100 million of returns or something like that.
That's lots.
You meet lots of people like that.
I reckon I've met...
More than 20 people like that.
Um, and, and, and none of those people in Australia.
And so, um, it's really important that we create a structure where people, A, want to join companies, Australians, B, we can import talent into those companies because it's really important in a tax advantage way.
And then C, um, that we protect the returns of those people because a lot of them get screwed over, you know, by investors and by press tax and by founders that are, you know, under pressure.
Yeah.
So I actually don't, I'm not super familiar with like the EC, you know, the ESVC, ESVC, but there are a whole lot of tax concessions for early stage investing, right?
I think,
you could mirror large parts of that into how early stage employees are treated and you would be a rocket fuel for the ecosystem.
Because another thing that I actually think is, and I said this somewhat facetiously and a lot of people came at me about it, but I actually do believe it is like, we actually don't need more startups in Australia.
We have tons of startups.
