It's when one emerges that is going to be great or has the potential to be great, which there are like maybe five to 10 a year,
It's actually the infrastructure around those companies to make sure they actually have their best chance of success.

The talent density of startup CFOs in Australia is awful.

Capital allocation in a growth stage startup is where is the best place to deploy your burning amounts of money to get you to the next fundraising milestone.
It's actually a very challenging style of finance management and you've got to be really good at it and not very many people are very good at it.

And then my CFO was a banker who kind of like learned inside the business.
But I've seen a lot of other CFOs who are awful, um, from an account allocation perspective.
