tie a couple of these things together regarding layoffs and being versatile enough and I'm not saying I Ryan Clark played the game he's on TV he did podcasts all the things I mean he's doing everything you can do so it's not like he wasn't but you almost have to you have to be on multiple platforms especially I think at least I feel it at my age in my mid-50s
that it's almost necessary for me to do Buffalo Kickoff Live, so I'm on television, I have my own podcast, the WGR stuff, teaching class at Canisius University, because when the inevitable happens, because they come for Carl Ravitch, they come for everybody, when my contract doesn't get renewed, and they're just like, Tim, we just decided we're not going to do it this time.
That's going to happen to me.
The fact that I've dodged that bullet in this profession for 33 years, 34 years is borderline miraculous.
And I've always been one step ahead, but the step, they're going to, I'm going to get caught.
I'm going to get caught at some point and I need to be able to have something, another platform that I can go to.
Now, maybe at that point I'm full time on WGR.
Maybe at that point I can get a job in television somewhere.
Maybe,
I mean, I don't know if you can do podcasting full time in the bills.
You'd have to come up with something really creative.
It's very difficult to do that full time.
But anyways, you almost have to be ready to go.
So that way, if you get that phone call, in fact, I've gotten three phone calls since we started here.
Maybe that's one of them.
I could at least say, I've got other things going on to pay the bills.
Over 10 years.
But you've done it more.
You've done more classes than I have.
I just do the one class once a year.
