So I, I, I do think that Al Sayed has a serious shot at winning this race, but I do think that he also has to figure out this problem as do all the matched

progressives have to figure out why they are not landing with black voters and i think we should probably have some experts on talking about this yeah i don't have a speculation as to why i mean there's a bunch of reasons i mean i think uh without getting too deep into it because obviously i'm not a black person so like i'm not but like i do think that the the black voters have been the base of the democratic party for a very long time oh yeah and so they you know and so they vote matched

generally with the party that's not a monolith but you look at these numbers and the party was behind hayley stevens i mean gretchen whitmer endorsed her yep like you know the other thing to your point about like being a big trouble the the flip side what i would argue is though he also withstood 70 million dollars of negative tv ads still won for sure which is both a ending both a matched

like sign of i think his base being strong but also i think we are learning that negative tv ads are just not working the way they don't work the way they used to we should stop using them the way we do but money and classic campaigning are both way overstated way overstated matched
