When he's behind the plate, he gives you a distinct advantage over other teams because he's a better hitter than almost every other catcher out there.
This was a really surprising move that the Cardinals would do this.
And they've won three games in a row since or around there.
We'll see.
Maybe they're smarter than all of us.
I'm still not sure I understand how, whatever, 35 games into a five-year $87 million deal that they've decided he's not a catcher anymore.
They either should have known that before they signed him or just said, if you pitchers don't like throwing to him, you guys are going to have to figure it out.
