And my guess is that's not going to happen.
At least I thought that at the beginning of the year.
I thought there would be three.
But there's an outside chance there will be four teams from the American League East that make the playoffs.
And that would be obviously historic.
Yeah, that has been discussed many times that if you want to, you know, return the value to the starting pitcher, which I am adamantly for giving the value back to the starting pitcher, one way to do that is to say you can't keep 14 pitchers on your staff because then you'll have, you know, four starters, five maybe, and ten relievers.
And if you've got them, you're going to use them.
Tony, I did a game.
It was in September with expanded rosters.
A few years ago, I did a game.
The Phillies asked Gabe Kapler.
I said, okay, how's the bullpen look for tonight?
He goes, we have 18 pitchers available.
18 for a game.
He used 10 of them.
10 of them.
So, yes, I think we need to bring back the value of the starting pitcher.
Again, I'm really old, Tony, almost as old as you.
Almost.
But I grew up at a time where guys completed 20 games in a season.
