My guess is- APRA being the regulator told the banks, we don't want you to lend as much money to investors.

Yeah.

Well, they had firm limits on interest-only lending.

Yep.

And they had firm limits on investment credit growth.

Right.

And a 30% limit on interest-only lending.

So we saw investors drop back to about – from about 46% of demand, so that was a record high, back to about 24%.

My guess is post-budget, we're going to be seeing something similar, maybe even more dramatic.

I just think for investors investing in Australian real estate, yields are very low.

So if you're an investor, unless you have a really large deposit –

chances are you're going to be negatively geared.

You're going to be seeing a negative cash flow in your property that's going to make holding that property harder with that negative gearing.

Which they used to do in mine because they would get some money back.
