We've seen well over 300 chicks raised through the project and ospreys have now become established on pretty much every corner of the UK.
Sorry, I got a bit distracted by an osprey fishing just over the way there.
So yeah, just in the distance there's an osprey just, was just fishing just at the edge of Heron Bay.
Is it the male?
Oh, it's one of the young ones.
Yeah, yeah.
There's two chicks on the beach as well, on the edge, and that one's just going left at the moment.
I'm Tim Sexton.
I'm the Senior Species and Recording Officer here at Rutland Water Nature Reserves.
We're currently sat in Wader Scrape Hide, which is probably the best place to see the ospreys from, which really are the stars of the show here at Rutland during the summer months.
And we're looking over Manton Bay, which is on the south arm of the reservoir.
This is where the Manton Bay nesting pair of ospreys, Myron 33, have been for many years now and have successfully raised 33 chicks together and draw hundreds, if not thousands of people every year down to 33.

Every year at the start of the season, it's like waiting for the kids to come back from university, isn't it?
Just without the washing.
You know, it's those anxious sort of weeks just before the season kicks off.
Is this going to be the year that Maya doesn't come back to Manton Bay?
Don't say that, Tim.
I dread that.
