Exactly, proudly brought to you by.
So I think we have to keep pace.
And this is the beauty of being a global sport, but it's also the challenge of being a global sport because we'd be so naive to think that it won't impact us.
And those conversations have been...
very well understood by, you know, my counterparts around state associations and those in the big bash.
So I think people have welcomed the conversation.
In fact, they've lent right into it because as I said to you at the very beginning, do you want stuff to happen to you or do you want to have something happen with you?
And I'm desperate to make sure we're influencing the outcomes for our own sport.
Yeah, I mean, I think ultimately you've always got choice, right?
So we control our own destiny, but the choice of not being part of something bigger and understanding the global changes means that over time, access to our best players will get harder and harder because they have more choice and more opportunity to earn significant rem than they do at any point in the time in the game's history.
So, you know, when I talk to players of the past, you know, I spent some time with Alan Border recently, and you sit and you just listen carefully to what they went through, you know, and AB talked at length about the challenge he had in his era where wanting to get the players paid appropriately for their services.
You know, but the problem for AB in those times was, you know, effectively the pushback from people in my position was, if you don't like it, we'll pick someone else.
And AB didn't have the leverage and the wherewithal that he had choice and opportunity to earn elsewhere.
Now, players today do, and that earning capacity is significant.
And so it's not dissimilar to every other sport, live golf and others, that it becomes global and players have choice and leverage to make the decisions for themselves.
So we have to get in the game.
We've got to make sure we're in the game and we can not fight with a hand tied behind our back.
Well, the good part having spent some time with India and particularly with Jay is that there's a love, appreciation and respect for Test cricket.
So that's still the genesis of everything.
So I was really pleased.
