Well, mate, I'm happy to be here.

I remember it well, actually.

It was at the nightclub called the Oceana in Wolverhampton.

Why was it in an Oceana?

I have no idea.

You used to promote it.

I was like 18 at the time.

Yeah.

And somehow, Wolverhampton felt somewhat exotic.

Cause it was like 90 minutes away from home.

I was like, Oh, this is a, this is a big trip.

And, uh, yeah, it all felt pretty normal to be honest, because I'd already like, so it's mixed martial arts is the name of our sport.

That involves, obviously, a mix of martial arts.

That involves boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, karate, judo, grappling, jiu-jitsu, all these different stuff.

And I'd already pretty much competed in all of it growing up anyway.

Every single one?

Pretty much, like give or take.

I'd competed in nearly everything.

So by the time I was like 18 or 17, however old I was when I had my first fight, it was pretty obvious that that's what I was going to do, yeah.

No, it's nerve wracking.
