But I think this race, to use your phrase, it has sort of broken containment.
I don't know that there's going to be any autopsy on it or any consequences that come from it.
But it certainly stands out as an example where people look at that and go, really?
Did that really?
That's how that, that's really on the up and up?
Maybe.
I mean, you know, Spencer Pratt strikes me as a candidate who managed to capture lightning in a bottle and really sort of threatened the establishment in a very serious and significant way because of a confluence of factors, right?
The Palisades and he lived there and all that stuff.
And so his situation is pretty unique.
That's not to say we can't have other people like that.
I had joked that he should move to Chicago and run for mayor against Brandon Johnson.
He should just move around all these different blue cities and keep running for mayor and just doing the same thing.
But look, as far as the distrust of institution goes, you're absolutely right.
And it's pervasive now, unfortunately.
I think COVID had a lot to do with that in terms of the government
uh, the, you know, public health establishment, the lies they told them, you know, omissions and manipulations and, and obfuscations, uh, that really did damage to people.
And, and we kind of knew that and it's become more and more clear in the aftermath, the lawfare stuff, what's going on.
I mean, just today, this Jack Smith stuff, right?
Well, let's hope so.
I mean, somebody should go to prison.
