We're also going to talk to Tom about this Jack Smith story that's getting absolutely buried in the legacy media about Jack Smith wrongfully spying on the actual text messages The actual text messages of Republicans in Congress, it's a wild story. Again, getting very little pickup in legacy media. Bill Maher went in on NPR right to Steve Inkeap's face. Just in the last 24 hours or so, Joe Biden dropped

In a conversation with Jim Acosta, who maintains that he's an independent, he's a journalist, he's not coming to any of this with any perspective. And it seems to me like Olivia Rodrigo is worried. really leaning in to politics so like i said much to discuss before we bring tom in i did just want to mention quickly uh this one particular moment from the vance interview on rogan that is getting some traction on the internet so far just as folks are digesting this three-hour interview there's a lot to get to but my overall take here is
J.D. was most animated when he was talking about AI and labor, which was super interesting. And when he was talking about Epstein, also super interesting. He was pretty willing. I mean, he took a major L on behalf of the administration, said we messed up the comms on that. I mean, I think it's, of course, as Rogan pushed Vance, obvious they messed up more than just the comms on the Epstein side. And he's very defensive of the president. But you can see he agrees, as he has in the past with Susie Wiles, description of him as being all in on the Epstein conspiracy theories, you just see that he's very fluent in Epstein-y, like in the conspiracy Epstein language. And at one point, this is a clip, you see this on your screen, Rogan says, most people think Epstein was Mossad.
Vance responds, yeah, Mossad or CIA or some other deep state, whether in America or Israel, he clearly had connections to the highest levels of American intelligence. He clearly had connections to the highest level of Israeli intelligence. And Bridget Phetasy, friend of the show, had such a fascinating insight into jd in this post she said i don't trust vance because he's got a dad-sized hole he's insecure in the worst way a man can be graves mail approval and feels centerless much like a lot of comics and podcasters and mansphere bros that said i'll still choose him over aoc if i have to that particular description connecting vance's quote dad-sized hole to the way he is i think very eager on these interviews with rogan and theovan for example to
be accepted by or approved of by some of these guys is actually a pretty fascinating psychological insight that I hadn't really connected both of those things, like the Manosphere podcasts with Vance's own personal history. But I did just want to say on this particular question, it's getting pushback. among folks.
