It's like as if I'm missing a limb.
I think about Ellen every second of every day.
And I often feel that's really unfair when I'm talking to other people, that while I'm listening to what they're saying and I'm having a conversation, there's part of my brain thinking about Ellen all the time.
And we're learning to be a new family and that takes time.
The day before the funeral, myself and Violet were sitting here in the kitchen, right?
Yeah, it was from her birthday.
Her 20th birthday.
Her 20th birthday.
So we read through her diary.
Ellen would have liked to run that marathon or half marathon every year.
And obviously she's not alone to do that.
And myself and Violet said that we wanted to do it along with our family and along with a lot of friends.
The outpouring from Cork, Munster, Ireland has absolutely been amazing.
And I must say Cork City Council, Analog Devices, in terms of organising the marathon this year, have been amazingly supportive in so many ways.
You know, a lot of people say it's going to be very, very emotional.
I think it will be.
