Football is back.

Football season is upon us.

So we thought it would be appropriate to invite not just a football coach onto the podcast, but the best golfing football coach anywhere, college or pro.

I can't confirm that a hundred percent, but I feel

pretty confident in saying that because Trey Lamb, head football coach at the University of Tulsa, he's got a plus one point six handicap index according to the USGA.

And it isn't just some sort of vanity handicap.

Coach Lamb qualified recently for the Oklahoma State Amateur Championship.

So he has serious game.

We're gonna talk some football, we're gonna talk some golf, we're gonna discuss how

How it's possible to be that good at golf with a job that demands so much time.

I think the short answer you will find is that outside football, it sounds like Coach Lamb doesn't do anything else but golf.

So sounds like a person with his priorities in the right place, but this is a really interesting discussion as we get into the state of college football, all the wild things going on in college football right now, what the season's going to look like, and I don't know.
