And it takes a long time to adjust when there's been a being in your home for, I assume, probably, what, 14 years or something?
yeah it's a long time so it takes a lot it takes right we we know with grief um that there are chemicals in the body right and again you guys maybe could talk about this more than i can but right being with our companions whether they're animal or human uh
is soothing to our systems.
It brings hormones, right?
I'm struggling for the words.
What are the positive hormones?
Like oxytocin and serotonin.

Those are the words I'm struggling for.
And when they die, we don't have that...
we don't have that same oxytocin release.
So physically, you're experiencing that still in your body, Stan.

I like to think of it as tending a garden, the resilience question, because even the most low maintenance garden needs tending from time to time, right?
So our resilience toolbox, we don't just stuff the tools in once and we're done and we just pull a tool out whenever we're ready.
