That's basically what it comes down to, right?
So in a way, yes, they're all different and they look different and different.
And if it's a trauma, it affects us in a basically universal way.

So more chronic or repeated traumas like I experienced are far more likely to develop into a trauma response.
And we call it complex trauma or complex PTSD, post-traumatic stress disorder.
And that's when people get really overwhelmed.
