Well, they can.
Every county website has information regarding that.
For the people that use my services, I don't send them to that.
I just provide them with updates along the way about doing that.
So I have a PDF document that I send to couples right from the moment that we agreed to work together that says, here's the information about your marriage license.
Now, unfortunately, it might be two years from now, and maybe they forget that I gave them that.
So along the way, I give them some advance notice.
One month away from their ceremony, I send an email to every couple saying, hey, time to get your marriage license.
I know you're busy, so this is your reminder.
And then I give them the specific information.
information from the state again.
Okay.
So, and then there's one more down the road where it's reminding, reminding them again, one more time.
Plus that specific information.
Having said that, there's still the occasional couple that forget to get their wedding license.
At least you did your due diligence.
Yeah.
It's suggested that if either of the couple intend to change their name, and I've had the male counterpart change his name, take the female's name.
