Which a lot of couples maybe wouldn't expect if they see that come from a pastoral background.
Unfortunately, that's sad, but true.
And so I like to make sure that couples understand that I support them.

So along with having destination weddings and one location ceremonies, oftentimes the planner or the coordinator, the venue coordinator, will assume the responsibility for rehearsals.
And so then if the couple wants me there, I'm happy to be there, but I don't have to be there.
There's a reason for that.
I'll get to that in a second.
But if they don't have somebody that will do that, then I do provide actually four different types of rehearsal services for different budget levels and depending on just exactly what they want me to provide.
I'm very comfortable walking in and just completely doing the rehearsal as a planner or as a coordinator would do.
But if they don't need me, then that can save them that money.
And the reason they may not need me is that once the content has been received from the couple as to what they want in their ceremony,
I make a big point of letting couples know you can relax now.
You don't have to worry about remembering anything.
I don't expect them to look at what they're going to do as a production or a choreographed play.
I want them to just simply stand across from each other and have a beautiful moment together.
And I'll take them through the entire ceremony without requiring them to remember anything.
I prompt them when they need to be prompted.
It's all very casual and smooth.
