Why?
Because the department was shut down.
Right?
Agents weren't getting overtime paid.
They weren't getting travel.
I mean, their travel cards were maxed out, so they couldn't travel to operations.
The targeting wasn't being funded like it should have been.
So the department was shut down, so of course their numbers were shut down.
And why did it then shut down the governor?
I'll tell you why, because I was in negotiation because of Minneapolis.
They had concerns about things in Minneapolis.
I'm not going to make a judgment on everything that happened in Minneapolis, but that's why they shut it down.
Every question, everything they wanted, ICE to change and Border Patrol to change, come back to operations in Minneapolis.
So, you know, bottom line is, once we got the funding, numbers are going through the ceiling, like President Trump promised America.
And this is, I wouldn't even call it bumping the road.
I mean, this is going to be a short-term review.
Is there something that could have been done better?
Is there any training to get me improved?
Or it's simply I was doing a job and bad things happen when people don't comply with law enforcement officers.
We'll let this play out where it is, but I think ISIS is going to continue doing record arrests, record removals.
