We were able to make that happen and he received that beautiful gift of the last the the ball used for the last out of the first game of the two thousand five uh World Series.
So he truly is a White Sox fan.
Uh I don't know how much he gets to watch, but I you know, and I was telling him about how everything went that night and he said, Well, too bad they lost.
So I mean he he understood that.
He's a true Sox fan, but he loved it.
And I remember when we took a picture with the hat, I said, Do you mind if I share this?
But PV said, No, no, go ahead.
So he understands the the what what sports are all about.
He likes sports of all kinds.
He understands how it can bring and he's even, you know, spoken as Pope about the importance of sports and how they bring people together and good fellowship competition, brotherhood and sisterhood.
So
The Pope is truly a fan.
He understands that he gets it.
And I think he was really touched by that box of uh souvenirs from the White Sox.
And I'm so I was I was happy that I was able to bring it to him.
Well he is, but he also he he said to me, he said and I told him what what he's doing and I explained the the atmosphere of that sold out crowd.
And I said it was truly a celebration of of our faith.
Whether you were Catholic or not, it didn't matter.
And he said just everything comes to Jesus.
That was what he said.
