So that's why he knows if this is bringing people closer to Jesus, then he's doing his job.
So it's silliness in the sense that it's good, fun, pure, innocent silliness and bringing people together.
And you know, when Father Tom Hurley did that that sign of peace, what was it in the fifth inning?
I mean, that was unbelievable.
And I told that to the Pope.
He did not know about that.
And I said, here were forty plus forty plus forty thousand plus people.
Exchanging a sign of peace.
That's you know, being brothers and sisters to each other, and that's uh uh a main message that Pope Leo has is that we are to be people of peace.
When he came on the balcony the day he was elected, he said, Peace be with you all.
That meant everyone in the world of goodwill.
That doesn't just mean Catholics.
That means everyone.
He's here to help everyone get to heaven.
And how do we do that?
By keeping Jesus the center.
And so I think he sees these as ways of going with the the pop culture, the culture that really speaks to people.
And and he understands sports.
He's a sports fan, so he gets it.
And uh so I don't think, you know, m may maybe some people would cross the line if they did something, but I think the way the White Sox handled it, I think they did it with a great uh uh a great d uh appropriateness.
