Tell us about the other team members because obviously without naming them, it's an amazing job you've done here as a journalist to persuade them to to talk to you about all this.

But you've given them all names in the book, haven't you?

Sort of false identities.

So let's get on to how you understand they actually did it.

Because I think one of the most amazing things about this story is that you'd expect with a a sabotage mission that

substantial this sort of giant ship and a several diving vessels alongside it.

But this entire thing was done off a a fifty foot long private sailing boat that they charted, like the sort of thing you see in Cows

That's an amazing contrast for me in this, in that the the the the almost amateur like nature which they did this with the the sailing boat, the Andromeda it was called and the sort of the primitive explosives.

But the the the difficulty of pulling it off.

So the depth alone, uh the pipeline was eighty meters uh below the surface on on the on the seabed.

That's an awful long way down.

Far further than than than most special forces divers are even trained to go.

And yet this

Not amateurs i it would appear managed to and how difficult and how dangerous was it to to get that deep?

A total of eight different dives to fix all the explosives there need to be, through a storm, as you said, and and Freya perhaps was the bravest of them all.

Uh tell me in particular what she did that pretty much saved the day.

Yeah, I I bet I mean volunteering effectively on a suicide mission.

Um I can also see how that would shame uh a load of blokes into to to getting on with it and not not giving up.

Yeah.

But but also uh during these eight different dives, you describe on several occasions how close the team came to being caught.
