Because, again, some of the victims Tyler is cool with and he's stalling them for time.
He's lulling them into not taking the action that my clients did.
And so the other victims are contacting me saying, how dare you put this in the report?
You're going to queer my ability to get my money back.
And I was like, dude, you're not getting your money back.
This guy's a con artist.
Right.
And so they were super pissed at me.
And they're like, well, have you sent this to the FBI already?
Well, yeah, I just had a meeting with the agents at the FBI.
They have the case.
And I go, my recommendation to you, and I'm not going to charge you anything, this is cooperate fully.
That is your only chance of getting money back is if there's seizures or forfeitures or restitution down the road.
And so they were angry at me.
But I've experienced that throughout my career, Matt Cox, where
Crime victims don't want to be crime victims because they don't want to be called crime victims or even on the list of crime victims in the FBI investigation because they fear that the FBI investigation is going to stop this con man from paying them back.
