He used the investor money to prop up his lifestyle and to invest in crappy speculative cryptocurrency.
He also bought a $150,000 Mercedes.
Do you know that a car could cost that much?
I've heard.
Yeah, and a luxury condo.
But most importantly to me, because, again, I'm working for my clients.
I'm not working for the government at this point.
My clients lost their family nest egg, kind of the money they had put together as a family over years of marriage because they trusted this guy.
And they hired me to see if I can get their money back.
And failing that, see if some justice could come about to Tyler Bassetti, the boss lifestyle guy.
So I conducted a financial crime investigation, following the money, talking to – and eventually some people had been complaining about him on Facebook.
I found those people, interviewed them, kind of got their statements about the stories that were told to them, the promise of high-yield, low-risk investments, when they sent their money and all that.
And we began putting together a sizable group of people who had been ripped off.
But again, my only clients were my victims.
I'm sorry, the only victims that I really cared about were my clients.
But what I'm doing is I'm putting together an FBI referral report that I'm not sending to the FBI, but I'm putting it together.
