Yes, on paper they do have a legal responsibility to prevent them from falling into destitution whilst they're applying for asylum.
But first of all, you can change.
Change those laws, number one.
Number two, certainly the domestic ones.
And number two, is that to all intents and purposes, you are still facilitating illegal migration at the expense of British citizens, whether that's in terms of cost or the democratic wishes.

They need to recognise that this is at a certain point the public are just not going to wear this.
Um, and so far that has manifested in them defecting to other political parties, making their preferences shown at the ballot box.
Now we're seeing this new wave of protest, which even if we're taking out the sort of direct action forms of it, we're you know, whether it was the flag raising or whether it was the pink ladies or whether it was the United Kingdom demonstrations, you're seeing a whole new form of like largely working class protest on the scale which we haven't seen for a very long time.
So at some point the penny's gotta drop.
But I understand the frustration of you know, having to basically just wait for someone within government to finally realise that they cannot carry on as they have.

So this was Andy Burnham's excuse me, Andy Burnham's big announcement at the UN General Assembly, which is that he wanted to set up this new National Centre for Information Defense to combat what he saw as the scourge of disinformation.
He was talking primarily or explicitly about the threat posed by Russia, um, particularly noting that Russia and hostile foreign states were interested in pushing uh notion.
Of national decline in Britain.
Of course, that everything is absolutely fine here and it's purely because we've been brainwashed by bot farms that we even countenance that particular view, but that seems to be the the drive of it.
But really, I think seems to fit this established playbook we now have with anti-disinformation efforts, which is it's presented as dealing with some kind of hostile foreign threat.
