the case though when we separate out the political system and the results in elections from what people actually believe?
Because obviously elections, unfortunately, maybe get boiled down to maybe one question or maybe two questions.
What do you want to do about cost of living?
What do you want to do about immigration?
And really that's going to be the story of the next election is which one of those framings wins?
Um, which could also lead to a violently different outcome.
But I I do think that so many of the issues that animate
us that animate our audiences that um are clearly going absolutely wrong illegal migration there's a basically a supermajority in the country who is against what is going on currently uh the nonsense around gender again you poll even labor voters they know that a lot of this is complete you know woo and the fact that it's going back to our disinformation discussion the fact that you've got Labour Party which has just been flatly

Either lying about what it believes to be the reality about gender for the sake of trying to look good or actually believing complete nonsense.
Um the fact that these are the people trying to police our speech is absolutely fascinating.
But you know, you keep going down the list.
Um what the story of the past ten years is that our elites have gone insane whilst the public have remained remarkably commonsensical and also remarkably patient.
That's not going to hold the the latter half of that is certainly not going to hold for much longer.
And it just feels
like the gap that exists is how is that going to get proper political representation, that common sense majority, which I think still does just about exist on a lot of these questions.
Even if I think that the kind of left wing extreme is becoming more extreme.
I think it's a kind of lucky extreme.
That's certainly true.
And and again it's one of those things which depending on how you frame it, 'cause people d obviously don't want their own tax to go up, but the idea of, you know, squeaking the pips out of people who make a hell of a lot of money is something that when you poll is quite
