That would have been a political achievement, the the lights of which arguably we've never seen.
It I mean it took the Labour Party twenty-two years to get to over a hundred MPs in the nineteen twenty-two.

So partly because of you saw this collapse of the Labour Party, you saw this collapse of the Conservative Party, this kind of unique opportunity that was lent to the Reform Party, and also the sense amongst right of centre voters, reform supporters, that the country was in such a mess that really reform needed to take the reins of power as soon as possible, the country's finished.
It created a situation of what might in retrospect look like kind of slightly unreasonable expectations.
Um and I I'm generally of the view that if you want to even if you want to be quite radical, that requires um a combination of urgency and patience, which is not always easy to square.
But no, it has shown that Andy Burnham, he has not single-handedly revived the Labour Party's fortunes.
The Burnham bounce has been pretty modest, I think it's fair to say.
And in whatever MRP poll we're looking at or whatever projection we're looking at.
it seems to me pretty nailed on that the Labour Party at the very least will lose a significant amount of seats at the next general election, which is worth bearing in mind.
They're still kind of from a relative position of weakness in light of twenty twenty four.
But yeah, everything is still to play for, to be frank.
So in the same way that it would be absurd to write off um the Labour Party given that the fact that their um fortunes have
Recovered.
Um, similarly those who are willing to say, you know, it's just over for reform now and they are just doomed to kind of entropy, I think doesn't take into account just how volatile things are out there.
And also how, let's face it, the issues that animate the reform vote are roaring back into focus once again because they can't not, whether it's illegal or mass migration.
So yeah, all remains on the table, I would say.
I actually don't disagree with you, Constantine, about the fact that um the idea that Andy Burnham is, you know, going to sort of conquer all before him is obviously a nonsense.
I think it's just quite clear that he is a obvious improvement on Keir Starmer, who led them to sort of dole drums which were such a gift, not just to reform, but to but hold on, Tom,
