I think they found about a hundred passages which seem to have been lifted wholesale or tweaked slightly like his other thesis.

It was a snooker claim that got me interested, as you can imagine.
Is I suppose the serious part of this, Tom, is the way in which when these allegations were made, Cambridge University, including some of the other universities that he had previously had positions out, the one that um awarded him his PhD, have basically just doubled down.
They've said that there's nothing to see here, I believe even Cambridge uh suggested that this was a sort of smear campaign, um, implying, if not explicitly saying that this was racist.
