The point at which, in your view, Britain ceased to be a liberal country with a great liberal tradition.

This is a talking point because Restore Britain came up with a policy proposal for reintroduce or introducing, I should say, ventilated smoking rooms in pubs.

So not necessarily a repeal of the smoking ban, but an attempt to, you know partial repeal.

And yet, um, Tom, I'm not sure if you saw the response to it, but just wall to wall fury, even amongst nominal Restore Britain supporters, what do you think that told us about how central the smoking ban, I guess, has become to so many people?

Yeah.

Especially 'cause people I imagine then they would never find themselves in a nightclub, it literally has nothing to do with them.
