Daniel Jones went to his first read on 100% of his attempts over 20-plus yards last year, which is a wild number.
If teams start to look at last year and go, okay,
Daniel Jones, when he goes deep, he's going to his first read and starts to shadow more coverage over to Alec Pearce because of that.
Does that come down?
Alec Pearce, is he going to be as good coming off his own injury?
Daniel Jones coming off his Achilles injury?
There's all these little bits where it just starts to be like, okay, could I see Alec Pearce getting 700 yards?
and becoming more useful near the line of scrimmage, perhaps finding some layups and making up for it in PPR setting, maybe.
But in half PPR, where touchdowns and big yardage totals really help, I'm a little bit concerned.
And I just don't love drafting injured players during training camp.
Yeah, you know, he ran so pure and generally I'm just living in the running backs in this section when you're kind of getting down to this area of the draft.
These are the guys in the ambiguous backfields.
These are the guys who are breakout potential.
You know, I am building a lot of hero RB teams or a lot of zero RB teams and trying to go against the grain of these running back heavy drafts.
And if you start running back heavy, then getting Alec Pierce in this range probably makes a lot of sense, but it's not the way that I'm building.
So I think I'd put him last simply because of the injury.
It's like, you know... It's a fair tiebreaker, I think.
Yeah.
Tate is a big unknown quantity for the NFL.
