If there's a situation like that where I'm fading somebody because I think the backup is undervalued, Dylan Sampson's not going in most 12-team drafts, but I'm going to pull him up.

I'm going to make sure that he's drafted because I don't want to be fighting it out on waivers.
I think I like to stand on convictions for those late round players that aren't getting drafted to make sure I get them and I have them on my roster.
And if you know what, they don't work out, then you can roster churn them pretty quickly.
Otherwise, it's kind of understanding your scoring setting, how many roster spots you've got.
how the league format is like in best ball and it's always a big adjustment for me because i'll draft hundreds of best ball teams in the off season when it gets to redraft going right now is the time where i need to be mindful of what the floor is on this team so if i've got a really high floor like if i started this draft say with amon ra saint brown and then you're getting like i don't know drake london and zay flowers in my first three picks

Yeah, I don't mind taking Alec Pierce because I don't need him early on in the season.
If he starts hitting, then maybe one of these other guys gets injured or maybe I can make a trade because people will start remembering what he did last year.
So it's always just kind of like looking at the balance of a roster, looking at the makeup of the players and saying, what does it take for these guys to hit and what can I do if it does happen?
