It doesn't get any more iconic than that.
So I think that giving that opportunity, and I worked with Cap there for 10 years, that was probably where, you know, kind of my radio foundation started.
you felt like, okay, maybe this is really going to stick and you're finding your way and there's no bigger station than GN.
So spending 10 years there, but earning your stripes early on there, I think was probably that moment in radio.
I think overall though, it's when I started to fly out to Los Angeles, I got hired at the NFL Network to do that as I was also working at
at ESPN at 1000, that's when I kind of was like, okay, you know, don't mess this up.
This is a national opportunity.
But that was probably on the television side, the okay, here we go moment.
But I think the best thing that ever happened for my career was the 10 years I spent at WGN, learning the business at night,
Seven to nine.
Lord knows who was listening.
Probably not a ton of people.
But I kind of learned the job over the course of that.
So when I got to ESPN 1000 and I was ready to do a daytime shift, I think I was more prepared.
The only thing I'll tell you is when I was coming over, it was like the least, not that it needed to be a secret at all, but I don't think that had been announced to the station or not.
But I remember being on a bus to the Super Bowl, the Bears and Colts Super Bowl, sitting next to Adam Delavitt.
