But of course, it was, Cal, a very dicey lap one.
Max lost out at the end of the Kemmel straight, but then, of course, got past Charles on lap six.
And then, obviously, Charles was able to benefit from a VSC, get a cheaper pit stop, get back ahead of Max.
Do you think, you know, as much as, obviously, on the Isaac side of the garage, we kind of played the safety cars and the VSCs, and it worked quite well.
Do we think Max could have maybe finished Peter in this race?
I'm just thinking the pace, you know, seven and a half, eight seconds off by the end.
It's hard to say, isn't it?
And again, look, that is motorsport.
I guess the longer you are in the industry, in the space, the more you, I guess, kind of just accept that there are certain things that are completely out of your control and you couldn't have done anything differently.

from a VSC as did various other drivers and that's just the way it goes sometimes what I do did want to ask you Cal Max talked about you know being pretty happy with the mediums on that first stint less so with the hards on the second of course the assumption is well it's just you know you have a I think it was C2 C3 C4 this weekend and oh it's just a bit less grip but other than just a bit less grip how else can changing from a medium to a a hard compound change the dynamics of a car
Yeah, you literally took it off the tip of my tongue.
I was going to say that predictability, especially on that medium, being happier at the start and then bolting another tyre on and then all of a sudden just not, I guess getting into that flow state is what drivers are trying to achieve all the time.
And when you've got that change, you know, some drivers talking about, I remember Lewis, you know, wanted a change of wing as well as changing his tyre compound to, I guess, accommodate for those other changes in grip that come with changing from a medium to a hard.
I think we could be pretty happy with this weekend.
You know, Max said it himself as well.
After the fact, happy overall.
Obviously difficult to say how this will link to Budapest next time out because Hungary is a totally different circuit.
But what are your expectations?
