It's it's exciting.

It's exciting.

And it re I mean, there's there it rejuvenates the team.

I think uh that's the the biggest thing.

It's it's not just me or us as coaches and how we want to put this thing this these puzzle pieces together, but you you feel the buzz through the team.

You feel the buzz through the position players and the guys and and they know they're getting they're getting support and they're getting guys from to come in here and help you win ballgames.

Yeah, I think each guy is a a little different in terms of how they handle changes in roles and and potential changes in workload.

I think for a guy like Colin Ray, um, you know, he's he has carried a heavy load for us over these last um I mean, when you look when you look back to last year, I think to this point he's thrown the most innings as a as a for for the Cubs of any pitcher that we have.

have um which is which is saying something he's he's like you said he's Mr.

Dependable he'll go out there and do anything in any role um and I do think having guys that can come in and step in do allow us to give him a little bit of a break, you know, use him in a bullpen roll um and kind of get the best version of him you know in shorter stints which I think is important.

I think Colin can can obviously start

in big moments and and the one thing I'll say it it's important to understand is like just because we put guys take guys out of the rotation and put them in a bullpen role or like a piggyback situation doesn't mean they can't start again at some point this year.

This is just as we're

going through these next few weeks and putting um

Putting guys, obviously we want to see Gausman and and Clay start, but Clay's also still building up coming off of the the leg injury.

So there's gonna be some things, um, moving pieces around, you know, both Javi

Colin and David Peterson have all pitched out in the bullpen.

Um, like you said, Cabrero was really good yesterday um in his rehab outing.

So yeah, there's there's gonna be decisions to be made.

But in the end, one thing the council talks about all the time is you we just want out getters.
